Originally written for two violins, arranged by Erinn Renyer for 4 cellos. Cello I- II in tenor clef with thumb position. Cellos III and IV through 4th position. Challenges that Bach can present… Includes parts with score.
Includes 55 short pieces playable in first position. Pieces increase in difficulty rhythmically, starting with half and whole notes and gradually introducing eighth notes and dotted quarters. None of the pieces have more than two sharps or flats. A piano part may be ordered separately. We feature the series for Two Cellos, but we also usually stock these compatible books for Two Violins and Two Violas. So either duet partner can play the top or bottom part!
