#3628 This includes the complete cello solo, newly edited by Daniel Morganstern with commentary and preparatory exercises. The Cello II part by Elaine Fine takes the place of the piano reduction.
Parts are of uneven difficulty. Cello I requires fluency in treble, tenor and bass clefs. Replete with double stops. Cello II mostly bass clef with the exception of two measures where tenor clef is unnecessary, and a B-C in two measures where it is helpful. (Editorial choices mystify me). Cello III and IV are all in bass clef, with IV having easier rhythms and no double stops.
