There are two new Guadagninis of Chinese spruce and maple, making them more affordable than those made of European wood.   We plan to have them ready in a March-April time frame if you’re interested.   Some cellists don’t realize how critical it is to have a shorter string length until they tackle more challenging music in unfriendly keys and/or much faster tempi.   This cello may well be the answer when you don’t really want to move to a 7/8 .   You can see the last one we sold in the gallery, and we’ll put the new ones up as their Pegheds are installed and setup is completed.
