Heli cello stand

Made by K&M, this stand has a steel-frame with rubber coating  that will fit all fractional size cellos, but beware with 4/4.   Measure the depth front to back of your cello at the bottom, and if it is 127 mm ( 5 “),  it should be fine.  Just check how you position the cello so it is secure but not resting against the black uprights that could leave marks on the face.   We have red and green remaining in stock.  Stand folds flat and is adjustable width-wise.  Footprint is 12″ wide, 13.5″ front to back, 13 3/4″ tall.  The protruding rubber bumpers rest against the back of the cello 10 1/4″ from the bottom.

    Peg Compound may help if you have friction pegs that stick or slip.  It is easy to use, comes in a swivel-up tube like Chapstick.  Remove your peg, clean off whatever residue may be on it,  and apply just in a thin band where the peg contacts the wood in the peg box.  Reinsert the peg and rewind string.  A longer-term solution is Pegheds geared pegs if you can make the investment

Oasis mounts in your case and slowly releases moisture, causing the tube to gradually collapse. You can see instantly see when you need to add water.  Easy and effective.  We include adhesive-backed velcro for more reliable attachment in your hard case, and a humigel refill kit.  At season’s end be sure to empty, rinse and dry so you can start with fresh crystals at the start of the next season of cold/dry air.

  • Boveda replacement packs (4)

    These packets are for 49% relative humidity, size 70.  Cellos, due to their size, require 4 packets to properly manage humidity in your case, which should be kept closed.   As long as you already have the soft pouch from your starter kit, you just need one set of 4 to keep your Boveda going for another 2-6 months.  Life of the product varies because conditions vary.  Contents of packet are  natural salts and pure water.  When your existing packets have gotten rigid — and you should note an increase in the size — it’s time to replace them.  Packets in their sealed plastic have a shelf life of two years.   A short video  https://bovedainc.com/question/when-do-i-replace-my-instruments-boveda/
