Brahms Sonata No. 2 in F Major, Op. 99 (Urtext)
Brahms Violin Sonata No. 1 in G Op. 78 (Varga)
Transcribed for cello by Laszlo Varga, this part follows the violin line, just down an octave. Slight modifications involving unplayable chords and octave doublings. You will need the piano part from the violin sonata as this is only the arranged cello part.
Brahms Six Songs (Geringas)
Arrangements were published by Simrock in 1896 while Brahms was alive, so it may be presumed that he knew of and accepted them. They passed from Rostropovich to Geringas, who arranged this edition.
