Two new sets that have different properties but work well together: Direct & Focused and Warm & Broad.
Specify D&F or W&B when ordering. You can mix and match. Winding at the ball end is Larsen’s yellow with black spiral, so you need to see the peg end to differentiate from other Larsens. Green is D&F while the addition of an orange band indicates W&B. The number of black rings on the green winding indicates pitch: one for A, two for D, etc.
We know they exist but have not yet ordered them. People are still learning about Jargar Evoke which were recently introduced. Pricewise, the Eccentric A and D are less expensive than Evoke, but G and D are more than Evoke Information from the manufacturer is included in our gallery, but results ALWAYS vary from cello to cello, and cellist to cellist, depending on our ears and personal tastes. So check back when we have more to report. Expected pricing is listed below, subject to change.
