LARSEN are steel core, available in multiple formulas, most in 3 tensions. All Larsen’s G and C strings are tungsten wound. The brand’s thread color winding at the tailpiece end is yellow with black spiral. The tension and variety is revealed at the peg end. Red for medium, Blue for soft, Yellow for strong. A secondary black band is Magnacore, a secondary green band is Soloist. Ball color at the bottom tells you pitch. Brass A, chrome D (both donut holes), copper G and black C (solid, no hole). Bright green are Il Cannone, and a secondary orange band is Warm & Broad We often have 3/4 size, 1/2 size, 1/4 size in this brand, or can order them. Prices are lower on fractional strings.
