  They share a similar power to Spirocore G and C, but with a more refined sound.
  They provide a similar ease of play to Rondo, but with added openness, sound color, and yet a more focused sound.
  They strike a balance between Rondo and Versum Solo, offering the versatility of Versum Solo without requiring as much effort from the player.

  Kaplans are identifiable by the white thread with black spiral at the ball end.  The winding at the peg end is color coded for pitch, and tension.   Heavy tension has a secondary orange band.  The G and C strings are tungsten wound and have a stranded steel core designed to give richer sound.
