Artino’s bow case by Otto Musica is sized for a single cello bow, and will accommodate Arcus and Musing bows which are a bit longer at 74 cm.   Made of aluminum, with padded lining, a soft fabric sleeve, and detachable shoulder strap.   End caps have been secured differently than earlier models.  We have transported over 200 grams of endpins in these cases on occasion, so they can safely transport your cello bow.   Colors: blue, red and brown.

    Currently one MINT  case is in stock at the price of $1600.   The New  Tech is an extremely strong case made with a 3-ply ABS  shell and injected foam which provides both shock and some thermal protection.  Broad, thick dense suspension pads support the neck and bottom blocks — the strongest structural parts of the cello — for superior protection from vibration when wheeling this case.   The wheeling handle is integrated into the back of the scroll compartment.   Be aware cellos vary in contour and proportions, so we always confirm dimensions before shipping.  An in-shop visit is the best way to evaluate any case.   Shoulder straps are included, with comfy neoprene with secure carabiners.  All case specs are shown in in the photo gallery.

    Bam Classic with wheels

    Bam’s Classic is their most affordable case, having a 1-ply ABS shell compared to their higher-end models with multi-ply shells.   The interior dense, broad padding suspends the cello under its strongest structural  parts: the neck and bottom blocks.  Cellists concerned about wheeling their case will appreciate the material of the wheels and their spacing, as well as the protection the suspension pads provide from vibration and impact.  The Classic features an internal music pocket, but common sense dictates what will fit without interfering with the back of your instrument.  The hardware, carabiners and shoulder straps are top quality, and comfortable whether wearing a tank top or coat.  This case has a generous interior and comfortably fits this cello with back length 30″, upper bouts 14 3/8″, lower bouts 17 5/8″,  Total length from top of scroll to bottom edge 48 1/2″ plus  2 1/4″ for the endpin well.   Weight 13 pounds.

    Otto Musica’s Mirage model 518W weighs 10.5 pounds, has a very strong shell, wheels, and a generous interior to fit some cellos with bouts or corners too wide for other cases in this price range.  There are 4 thick and 4 thin removable pads that run on a velcro track to adjust fit for a variety of cellos.  The tongue-in-groove seal closes with 6 latches.   The side and shoulder handles are roomy which is important for some cold-weather glove-wearing cellists.  See the photo gallery to see how your cello’s dimensions compare with this cello which is a very good fit for this case, when it did not fit in a variety of others here.  BLACK in stock.

    Currently we have 1 Orangey in stock on sale for $1450   Shamrock is part of the HighTech series, and an excellent choice for a ~ 10 lb, protective case with wheels!  It has a 3-ply ABS shell over a foam core, but generic instead of Airex foam as in the other HT models. The scratch-resistant lids come in 4 colors with textured black backs.   Only the black is completely textured.  Injected high-density foam pads are broad, and support the strongest parts of the cello at the neck and bottom blocks. Standard 2 bow holders, string pocket, shoulder straps. Rigid when standing, aligns and closes easily with 5 latches. The interior is generous 37cm UB, 45cm LB, body length 80cm, total length 125cm but fit issues may occur at the center bouts and the C peg due to the tapering of the case.  Weight with wheels and exterior pull handle is ~ 10 lbs.  Pair of neoprene, very comfy shoulder straps included.
