While the Polacca requires all cellos to be fluent through 4th position, most pieces only have Cello 1 and 2 in that range and the rest can be played in first and second positions. Rhythms and bowing are another matter, so the group needs more skills than you might expect.

$8.99Includes 55 short pieces playable in first position. Pieces increase in difficulty rhythmically, starting with half and whole notes and gradually introducing eighth notes and dotted quarters. None of the pieces have more than two sharps or flats. A piano part may be ordered separately. We feature the series for Two Cellos, but we also usually stock these compatible books for Two Violins and Two Violas. So either duet partner can play the top or bottom part!
