ConCarbo CF tailpiece with mini levers
$175.00Another ConCarbo tailpiece option for cellists without Pegheds or other geared pegs is this “twill” French style model with mini levers. The gallery photos show the back and side view of the tailpiece so you can appreciate how the string loads from the back for a clean look on the front, with less weight. Since all our cellos have Pegheds, we don’t use this model here at the shop but can order it if it doesn’t happen to be in stock when you inquire. Options for the tailpiece itself include black matte or shiny in addition to the “twill.” We can special order this for you.

10 mm Cube Acoustics endpin
$450.00The Cube Acoustics 10mm tuned alloy endpin weighs ~386g, is 23.5″ long. The extra length allows for more rod resonating in the cello. Variations in height of cellist, body length and contours of cello yield different results in sound. As far as the tonal enhancements you will experience, you simply have to try it and gauge its performance for yourself. The endpin will tarnish from brass tone over time and it can be left to a natural brown patina.
