German 1/2 size carved cello c. 1940-1950 has been restored and set up with Pegheds, Belgian bridge, hardwood fitting with 24″ 8mm endpin.

This reduced Montagnana pattern is handmade by Damir Horvat. The two-piece top is of fine-grained Sitka spruce. The ribs and two-piece back are of american big-leaf maple. It is heavily antiqued with a red-brown oil varnish. Setup includes Pegheds, a custom tailpiece, NHM fitting for a number of 10mm endpin options.

Cello c. 1850 displays characteristics suggesting it is German/Swiss, by an unknown maker. The top is wide soft-grained wood, neck is birch. The extremely dark varnish is well worn with age. Pegheds have been installed and there are no fine tuners on the ebony. Setup includes a French bridge, endpin fitting with a 10mm NHM carbon fiber endpin.
