#2414 Op. 119, Nos. 1 & 2. Parts only; no score. Parts are in bass clef and of uneven difficulty with Cello I’s range just beyond the harmonic A. Cello II does not exceed the harmonic A. Cello III and IV are easier, fluent to fourth position
Includes parts and score. Bach Jesu Joy, Handel Largo, Humperdinck Evening Prayer, Mozart Ave Verum Corpus. Intermediate. Cello I involves tenor clef with thumb position. Cello II bass/tenor. Cello III and IV are less challenging.
Includes 55 short pieces playable in first position. Pieces increase in difficulty rhythmically, starting with half and whole notes and gradually introducing eighth notes and dotted quarters. None of the pieces have more than two sharps or flats. A piano part may be ordered separately. We feature the series for Two Cellos, but we also usually stock these compatible books for Two Violins and Two Violas. So either duet partner can play the top or bottom part!
