Solo part is equally distributed throughout. Parts are of unequal difficulty. Cello I treble and tenor clefs, Cello II and III tenor. All have counting issues and require crisp articulation. Includes parts and score. [CE-19]
Includes 55 short pieces playable in first position. Pieces increase in difficulty rhythmically, starting with half and whole notes and gradually introducing eighth notes and dotted quarters. None of the pieces have more than two sharps or flats. A piano part may be ordered separately. We feature the series for Two Cellos, but we also usually stock these compatible books for Two Violins and Two Violas. So either duet partner can play the top or bottom part!
Duets are graded in four volumes, both parts of equal difficulty. Volume IV is for players moving into 5th position; music is still in bass clef. We usually stock this book for Two Violins and Two Violas which matches the cello book, so you can play duets with upper strings, but either can play the top or bottom part.
