JARGAR Series

Jargar Classic, Silver, Special and Superior are listed below.  Available in dolce, medium and forte tensions  *Special A and D soft are discontinued

Classic is the original Jargar string, before any other variations were introduced.  Medium tension have blue windings at the ball and peg end. Forte tension are red at the ball end, blue at the peg end. Dolce are green at the ball and peg end.

Superior A and D strings offer richer overtones and more projection than the Classic version.   Winding at the ball end is blue for medium tension, light green for dolce, and red for forte.  (Most other companies identify their tension by the color at the peg end, and the brand color at the ball end.)
