Akusticus plastic tailpiece,  220 mm in length, has integrated fine tuners and a wire tail loop.  This is a popular choice for fine instruments as it can help enhance volume and tone.  Weight ~ 81.8g.  There are replacement parts for this tailpiece so if you break a fine tuner, don’t throw the tailpiece away!

    Endpin fitting is composite/stainless with thumb screw that tightens a collar around the endpin.   Cone diameter only comes in 27.5mm to accommodate the angle of the hole for a 10mm rod.  This allows use of a straight rod, angled downward 6 degrees.  Not as severe as the Stahlhammer’s 25 degrees.  Your cello sits more horizontal, f-holes facing more upward, and also may make the pegs sit more comfortably in relation to your neck.   Price is for the fitting only.  You can use any 10mm rod, or purchase the NHM 10mm rod (listed separately).

    Adjustable bridges are not ideal for setting up a cello, but they can be a lifesaver in an emergency when there is no luthier or repair person close by.  These bridges are available in 4/4 and fractional sizes, but not a range of diameters.  They have pivoting feet since cello tops vary in curvature.  That means you will be able to set your cello up, but it is not likely the bridge will be optimal in relation to your sound post and bass bar.  They are available in low, medium and high so you can try to get a suitable height for playing.  Handy to have available at summer music camps or if you travel.

    10 mm Hollow Carbon Fiber Endpin (NHM)

    New Harmony Music’s woven carbon fiber endpin is 10mm diameter with hollow center, 24″ long, extremely sharp heat-hardened steel tip which can be resharpened.  The CF weave is visible for a distinctive look, and it’s light at ~43g. If you don’t have calipers to measure the diameter, you can measure around the circumference.  If it’s 1.25″ you have a 10mm endpin.  Each endpin is sold with a plastic-lined rubber cap.  Replacement caps may be purchased separately.      20″ long  endpin can be ordered, $73.00

    New Harmony Rubber Tip

    Rubber tip with plastic liner specifically designed to fit New Harmony heat-hardened steel endpin tips.   The diameter of the hole is about 9 mm, so it stretches to fit securely over either the 10 mm diameter rod, or the 8mm rod because it reaches over the collar which is 9.5 mm.   Package of 2.  See photos for a clearer understanding of why it might not fit on your non-NHM endpin.
