Bobelock’s popular cello bag has a nylon canvas cover that resists water, and 1″ thick foam padding protects the cello from everyday bumps. There’s a music pocket on the back, accessory pocket and padded bow compartment on the front, and comfy adjustable backpack straps (not removable). Dual zippers meet on either side of the endpin to prevent sharp tips from damaging the zipper.  Check with us for color availability!

  • Fiedler bow holder for case interior

    We are in the process of adding these magnetic bow holders to the offerings here at Cellos2Go.  If you are unhappy with your current holder, and the tip pocket is fine, you can replace  whatever velcro or snaps you have holding the frog.  Most case accessories are hot-glued in, so removing them just requires heat to melt the glue for removal.  If you are interested in adding an additional bow holder in the lid that will parallel the fingerboard, this should have the clearance you need — but you will need an additional tip pocket.   Keeping in mind case makers do not all use the same materials nor have the same clearances or shell thicknesses, results may vary.  When we get them in and get some first-hand experience, we’ll add details.  (ESG 4/30/24)

    HIGHTECH COMPACT weighs 10 lbs 4 oz, fits most cellos up to 14.25″ UB, 17.5″LB.  The widest part of a cello does not always fall at the widest part of the case as contours vary.  A strong 3-ply ABS shell over an Airex foam core provides superior thermal and impact protection.     Bam Classic with wheels

    Bam’s Classic is their most affordable case, having a 1-ply ABS shell compared to their higher-end models with multi-ply shells.   The interior dense, broad padding suspends the cello under its strongest structural  parts: the neck and bottom blocks.  Cellists concerned about wheeling their case will appreciate the material of the wheels and their spacing, as well as the protection the suspension pads provide from vibration and impact.  The Classic features an internal music pocket, but common sense dictates what will fit without interfering with the back of your instrument.  The hardware, carabiners and shoulder straps are top quality, and comfortable whether wearing a tank top or coat.  This case has a generous interior and comfortably fits this cello with back length 30″, upper bouts 14 3/8″, lower bouts 17 5/8″,  Total length from top of scroll to bottom edge 48 1/2″ plus  2 1/4″ for the endpin well.   Weight 13 pounds.   Sale on items in stock:  Gray, Black.
