Bow case – Artino
$65.00

Vivo Carbon Fiber infused case
$845.00A new carbon fiber case from Vivo weighs 6.6 pounds. There are 7 latches, none locking. There’s a scroll loop, and the neck strap closes with a clasp. The interior provides a broad pad at the top of the back, which runs on a Velcro track. This allows a custom fit to your cello’s length. The bottom suspension pad curves up the sides of the lower bouts, keeping it from shifting laterally. The interior is generous and fits a Dimbath Ruggieri cello. This model may not accommodate the 7/8 and 4/4 Guadagnini unless you add booster padding at the bottom. We tried models of both, and the body length coupled with the distance from the top rib to the C peg was too short to accommodate some C pegs. The Vivo Hybrid modes fits those cellos, just not their Carbon model. Comfortable handles are placed at the side and shoulder, and two shoulder straps are included. D-rings positioned closer to the neck of the case, and a single D-ring a few inches lower on the back give you options for strap attachment. That means whether you are short or tall, you should be able to get the case to ride comfortably on your back. No wheels on this model. In stock in burgundy.

Bam Shamrock with wheels
Shamrock is part of the HighTech series, and an excellent choice for a ~ 10 lb, protective case with wheels! It has a 3-ply ABS shell over a foam core, but generic instead of Airex foam as in the other HT models. The scratch-resistant lids come in 4 colors with textured black backs. Only the black is completely textured. Injected high-density foam pads are broad, and support the strongest parts of the cello at the neck and bottom blocks. Standard 2 bow holders, string pocket, shoulder straps. Rigid when standing, aligns and closes easily with 5 latches. The interior is generous 37cm UB, 45cm LB, body length 80cm, total length 125cm but fit issues may occur at the center bouts and the C peg due to the tapering of the case. Weight with wheels and exterior pull handle is ~ 10 lbs. Pair of neoprene, very comfy shoulder straps included. 1 Orangey in stock at this price

Fiedler bow holder with tip pocket
$33.00Fiedler makes a bow holder with a magnetic closure, sticky-back foam block, bow tip pocket, and mounting screws (though users we talked to just used hot glue). If you wish to add a third bow in the lid that will parallel the fingerboard, this should have the space you need. Keeping in mind case makers do not all use the same materials nor have the same dimensions or shell thicknesses, results may vary. If you are unhappy with your current velcro/snap/zip holders, you can replace them with the Fiedler.
