Bow case – Artino

Artino’s bow case by Otto Musica is sized for a single cello bow, and will accommodate Arcus and Musing bows which are a bit longer at 74 cm.   Made of aluminum, with padded lining, a soft fabric sleeve, and detachable shoulder strap.   End caps have been secured differently than earlier models.  We have transported over 200 grams of endpins in these cases on occasion, so they can safely transport your cello bow.   Colors: blue, red and brown.

  • Bam interior pads

    A six-pack of pads is available to customize fit in any cello hard case. The pads are 3″ x 4″, covered in black fabric with an opening on one side to allow removal or addition of padding as needed. Since the pads are backed with loopy velcro, to be used on a HighTech 4.4 Velcro track, they will not stick to the interior of your case unless you add the soft velcro yourself, either with glue gun or using adhesive-backed Velcro (brand).

  • Bam Ergonomic Backpack

    Bam’s Ergo Backpack is a European hiking pack for maximum comfort when trekking with case. Weight 2.4 pounds, attaches with D ring at top, two Velcro straps to D rings at lower bouts. A cushioned zippered music pocked rests between your back and the case shell. Pad is 12″ at widest part, 22″ long. We put in a 10×11.5″ binder 1″ thick and it fit. Oversize orchestral parts fit.  There’s a small utility pouch on the waist belt.  Be aware this makes the case back-heavy when standing empty, and also prevents it from laying flat, if that matters to you.  It tends to be less comfortable for petite cellists, not just height but narrow frame and shoulders.

  • Bam High Tech Compact

    HIGH TECH COMPACT weighs 4.4 kg (9.7 lbs).  With both shoulder straps, 10,4.  It fits most cellos up to 14.25″ UB, 17.5″LB.  The widest part of a cello does not always fall at the widest part of the case as contours vary.  A strong 3-ply ABS shell over an Airex foam core provides superior thermal and impact protection. Unlike the Slim 2.9, this has more depth, providing greater buffer zone between the cello and the outside world. No worries with the angle of the neck causing the scroll to touch the back of the case.   • Bam Newtech with Wheels

    The New  Tech is an extremely strong case made with an ABS  shell and injected foam core.  Broad, thick dense suspension pads support the neck and bottom blocks — the strongest structural parts of the cello — for superior protection from vibration and impact.   The wheeling handle is integrated into the back of the scroll compartment.   Be aware cellos vary in contour and proportions, so we always confirm dimensions before shipping.  An in-shop visit is the best way to evaluate any case.   Shoulder straps are included, with comfy neoprene with secure carabiners.  Weight with wheels 12 lbs 11 oz.
