Pedi tubular bow case holds two cello bows (or viola/violin), zips closed. The adjustable shoulder carry strap can be tightened flat to the exterior. Rigid, well padded, with luggage tag attached, it’s a reliable way to travel or fly with your bows.   Total length is 31″ but we did some specific measuring which you can see in our gallery photo.    Available in black with brown contrasting trim, or brown with black trim.

    The “Fun Series” from Gewa adds some new colors and a different latching system on the 9.9 lb polycarb case.  The interior still features fixed pads on the case back, 4 thin and 4 thicker side pads to prevent lateral movement, and the repositionable asymmeetrical pads to better fit some shorter back cellos, or those with different shoulder contours.  This green guy is on back order till the spring 2026, but if you want this color, you can place an order now.  Magnetic bow holders, clasp at neck, scroll loop.  No wheels on this model.

    Fiedler makes a bow holder with a magnetic closure, sticky-back foam block, bow tip pocket, and mounting screws (though users we talked to just used hot glue).   If you wish to add a third bow in the lid that will parallel the fingerboard, this should have the space you need.   Keeping in mind case makers do not all use the same materials nor have the same dimensions or shell thicknesses, results may vary.  If you are unhappy with your current velcro/snap/zip holders, you can replace them with the Fiedler.

    Bam HighTech Slim is sculpted closely to the contours of the cello, providing a compact 8 lb 6 oz cello case.  Protection is excellent with a thermal and shock-resistant Airex core beneath its strong ABS shell.  Dense, broad foam cushions suspend the cello at its bottom and neck blocks. The buffer zone between cello and outside world is reduced, so take your specific usage into consideration before buying. Standard 2 bow holders, a string pocket, shoulder straps, etc. The neck and scroll strap fasten with a clasp. UB 14.25″, LB 17.5″ It is also advised to check the cello laying down to see whether the neck/scroll angle is too extreme to fit without resting on the scroll compartment.

    Gewa Air

    While Gewa Air fits many 4/4 cellos, it has adjustable features that make it ideal for short-pattern cellos like Guadagnini or 7/8ths cellos.  The shell is constructed of two strong thermoplastic layers with injected foam bonded to interior suspension lining.  This design makes it tortionally strong, more puncture resistant, and affords thermal protection.  The interior features an adjustable sling to customize fit. It also may fit some extra-long cellos because of the flexible configuration of pads in the shoulder/neck region. Guideline dimensions are 14.5″ UB, 18″ LB, total length 51.5″ but fit requires more details so contact us. Five latches, one with an integrated combination lock. Leather handles.
